What Cosmetovigilance Actually Means
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Cosmetovigilance is the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of how cosmetic products affect the skin beyond the point of purchase. It means we are actively watching for unexpected reactions, patterns in how products are being used, and any signals that a formulation or usage guidance needs to be improved.
For you as a customer, it means two things: we take your safety seriously enough to have a formal process for it, and if something unexpected happens with your skin while using a Belhuman product, there is a clear path to report it and have it properly reviewed.

Four Things We Actively Track
Skin reactions — irritation, unexpected sensitivity, breakouts, or discolouration reported by customers during or after product use.
Delayed effects — cumulative or longer-term skin responses that only become apparent after extended use.
Product misuse — cases where products have been combined unsafely or used contrary to guidance, which helps us improve how we communicate instructions.
Customer feedback signals — reports from consultations, product reviews, and direct customer messages that indicate a pattern worth investigating.
Every signal is logged, assessed, and reviewed. Where action is needed — whether updating guidance, adjusting a formulation, or in serious cases withdrawing a batch — customer safety takes priority over commercial considerations.

You are an essential part of this process. If you experience an unexpected skin reaction while using any Belhuman product — irritation, redness, sensitivity, breakouts or anything that doesn’t feel right — we need to hear from you.
Your report helps us review the product, assess whether others have had similar experiences, and take action where needed.
Just a clear description of what happened, which product you used and how long you had been using it.
